Focus and Scope

 

Journal of the Indonesian Tropical Animal Agriculture (JITAA) is a double blind peer-reviewed publication devoted to disseminate all information contributing to the understanding and development of animal agriculture in the tropics by publication of original research papers. The journal covers all aspect relating to Animal Agriculture, including:

  • Animal breeding and genetics
  • Animal feeding and nutrition
  • Animal reproduction
  • Animal biotechnology
  • Animal physiology
  • Animal production and technology
  • Animal products technology
  • Animal management and economics
  • Animal products processing and animal by-products
  • Animal microbiology
  • Livestock farming systems
  • Other related topics in relation to animal science.
The topics of research are not only on Indonesian tropical animal agriculture, but also on other tropical regions of the world.

Peer Review Process / Policy

The research article submitted to this online journal will be double blind peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) reviewers. Editor in chief will make final decision according to the comments of reviewers. The accepted research articles will be available online following the journal peer-reviewing process. Screening plagiarism will be conducted using Turnitin.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Article Processing Charge

As it is written in Guide for Authors in C. Miscellaeneous:

c.1. The authors will be charged in the following expenses:

(1) Revising English when the Editorial Board regard it necessary.

(2) Typesetting and printing of the portion of the text exceeding the length prescribed in the Item B.1.e., that is manuscripts should not occupy more than 8 pages in length of journal sheet (14-18 pages of manuscript).

(3) Colour printing.

c.2. The current charge is IDR 2,000,000.00 or US$ 150.00 for an article decided to publish. Addition charge if an article more than 8 pages is IDR 50,000.00 per page. Colour printing charge is IDR 600,000.00 per page.

c.3. The Indonesian corresponding will receive 1 (one) copy of printed journal and 5 (five) copies of reprint.
